Drones form aerial lifeline in flood-hit Guangxi in southern China

A volunteer fleet of drones has created an "aerial lifeline" in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, delivering food, water and medical supplies to flood-isolated villages. As torrential rain cut off roads, power and communications, staff from drone suppliers and civilian volunteers formed an impromptu aerial transport team to reach stranded residents in areas inaccessible by boat.
