FEED GHANA PROGRAMME: 506 Agricultural Graduates Deployed to Boost Food Production

The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Eric Opoku, has tasked newly commissioned agricultural brigades under the Feed Ghana Programme to drive Ghana's agricultural transformation by increasing food production and reducing dependence on imports.
A total of 506 agricultural graduates, made up of 420 men and 86 women, will be deployed across the country to support farmers through extension services, technical assistance, and the adoption of modern farming practices.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mr. Opoku said the success of the programme will depend on the commitment, professionalism, and dedication of the brigades as they work directly with farmers to improve yields and expand local food production.
