The President of the Africa Paralympic Committee, Samson Deen, has urged athletes representing Team Ghana at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow to remain disciplined as they prepare for the competition.
Forty Ghanaian athletes are expected to compete across 10 sporting disciplines, with the team aiming to surpass the country's medal performance from the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where Ghana won five medals.
Speaking during a meeting with the athletes, Samson Deen, who also leads Ghana's Paralympic Committee, said discipline, commitment, and professionalism will be critical to achieving success at the Games.
