President John Mahama has received a briefing from the Post-Flood Mitigation Task Force and its subcommittees on measures being taken following Monday's devastating floods.
The meeting, chaired by President Mahama, focused on the impact of the floods, ongoing response efforts and strategies to prevent future occurrences.
The Post-Flood Mitigation Task Force was established to coordinate interventions aimed at addressing the effects of flooding and improving Ghana's preparedness for similar disasters.
