Dodowa-Afienya-Dawhenya Road to Be Completed by November 2027 – Contractor

The Dodowa-Afienya-Dawhenya Road Project has achieved about 40 percent physical progress, with the contractor assuring commuters that the project remains on schedule for completion by November 2027.

Speaking on Channel One TV, the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineer for Oswald Investments Limited, Anita Asamoah, said the project is progressing despite challenges including heavy rains, flooding around the Afienya bridge site, and right-of-way issues.

She explained that the contractor is working to recover lost time and ensure the project is completed within the scheduled 24-month period.

The road project is expected to improve connectivity, ease transportation challenges and enhance movement along the Dodowa–Afienya–Dawhenya corridor.
