The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has backed Africa Education Watch's call for stiffer disciplinary measures to tackle rising indiscipline in senior high schools.
The support follows the Ministry of Education's decision to engage key stakeholders on reforms aimed at addressing growing misconduct in second-cycle institutions.
Speaking to Channel One News, NAGRAT President Jacob Anaba urged parents to take greater responsibility in instilling discipline, values, and good behaviour in their children.
He stressed that addressing indiscipline in schools requires collaboration between parents, teachers, students, and education authorities.
