Roads Minister Kwame Governs Agbodza says government will deduct contract payments from contractors who fail to provide detailed work schedules for ongoing projects.
He said the move is aimed at improving accountability, ensuring proper project monitoring, and preventing unnecessary delays in road construction and rehabilitation works.
The Minister stressed that contractors must demonstrate clear timelines and commitment to delivering quality infrastructure projects within agreed periods.
