The Minister of State in charge of Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has dismissed concerns raised by the Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, over President John Mahama's flood assessment exercise.
Kwakye Ofosu described the Minority Leader's comments as “bizarre and misguided politicking”, arguing that the criticism does not reflect the government's efforts in responding to the impact of the June 29 floods.
The response follows Afenyo-Markin's criticism of the President's use of a helicopter to assess flood damage, while calling for more direct engagement with affected communities.
