SATASO BRIDGE COLLAPSE: Reconstruction Set for Completion by September

Reconstruction works on the Sataso Bridge in the Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region are expected to be completed between August and September 2026.
The project is being expedited to restore the bridge, which collapsed on June 10, and ease the difficulties faced by commuters who rely on the route.
Authorities say efforts are ongoing to complete the works on schedule and restore normal movement along the affected stretch.
