IOC provisionally lifts suspension of Russian Olympic Committee

IOC President Kirsty Coventry spoke about the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board's decision to provisionally lift the suspension of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) that had been in effect since October 2023, ending neutral status vetting for Russian athletes, a step toward Russia's return and ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
