The wife of former National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO) Chief Executive Officer Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba has gone to court demanding information on his whereabouts and seeking his immediate release following his reported arrest at the Accra International Airport.

According to her sworn affidavit, Abdul-Wahab was arrested by armed operatives on July 4, 2026, while preparing to travel to London for medical treatment under a court-approved trip.

The affidavit states that the former NAFCO CEO had been granted permission by the High Court on June 29 to travel for treatment of a worsening eye condition, with instructions to return by July 14.

It further claims that after completing standard airport procedures, including immigration clearance, he was confronted by persons identifying themselves as BNI officers and taken into custody without explanation.
