Railway workers say they are awaiting salary negotiations as they expect government to settle months of salary arrears owed them.
The payments follow months of protests, including a picketing exercise by members of the Railway Workers Union at the Ministry of Transport.
Speaking to Channel One News, the Union's General Secretary, Benjamin Essuman, said the next step is for government to constitute a salary negotiation committee to agree on a new salary structure.
The workers are calling for a sustainable resolution to their concerns and improved conditions of service.
