NPP Communications Team member Fahd Osman has backed the plea negotiation process in the Stephen Amoah Exim Bank case, saying the recovery of state funds will support national development.

He also called for stronger legal frameworks to guide the operations of the Ghana Exim Bank and improve accountability in the management of public resources.

Acting Deputy CEO of the Gaming Commission, Lamtiig A. Apanga, has questioned the timing of the repayment offer in the Wontumi Exim Bank case, arguing that the matter could have been resolved much earlier.

He said delays, denials, and prolonged legal processes raise concerns about the conduct of the accused and the handling of financial disputes involving state funds.
