China-Russia naval drill enhances joint capabilities

China-Russia "Joint Sea-2026" exercise started on Monday in Qingdao, Shandong Province, as part of the two militaries' annual cooperation plan. The drill aims to strengthen strategic mutual trust, improve joint operational capabilities and enhance the two navies' ability to respond to maritime security challenges.
