Investor participation in the Treasury bill market remained relatively robust last week, with the government's latest auction recording an oversubscription of 23.4%.
According to auction results released by the Bank of Ghana, investors submitted bids worth GH¢4.16 billion, exceeding the government's target of GH¢3.37 billion.
Speaking to Channel One Business, Economic and Fixed Income Analyst at Databank, Wilson Elorm Zilevu, said the auction results indicate that investor demand remains strong enough to surpass the government's financing target.
