A song for my grandfather

"Grandpa, you've never really left me." For Wang Zhenzhong, the South China Sea is more than a place. It is where his family story began. Inspired by his grandfather – a veteran fishing boat captain from Tanmen – this original song brings together old photographs, handwritten Genglubu manuscripts and memories of generations who spent their lives at sea.
