Okyehene Urges Government to Prioritise Teachers and Education Sector

The Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has called on government to prioritise the teaching profession by improving the working conditions of teachers, describing them as key change agents in national development.

He stressed that teachers play a critical role in nurturing and shaping future generations, and must therefore be given the necessary support to perform effectively.

The Okyehene also appealed to government to seek financial assistance to help contractors return to site and complete various stalled road and infrastructure projects across the country.

His remarks form part of broader calls for improved investment in education and infrastructure development.
