WATCH: Residents of Dominion City in Koforidua woke up to a shocking discovery after the body of a man was found abandoned in the neighbourhood.
The deceased has been identified by relatives as Isaac Amanor, a fashion designer who operates near the Koforidua Sports Stadium area. He is believed to have been murdered before his body was dumped in the community.
Residents say the body was discovered early this morning with the victim lying near homes, dressed only in his boxer shorts.
It remains unclear how the incident occurred, and although the matter was reported to the police, residents say officers are yet to retrieve the body or begin full investigations.
Concerns have also been raised over poor lighting and bad road conditions in the area, which residents believe may have contributed to the incident.
The Assemblyman for the Adweso Town Electoral Area, Samuel Atta Amo, is calling on government and the Ghana Police Service to provide:
