WATCH: Structures illegally erected within waterways, or those posing an immediate danger to public safety and flood mitigation efforts, may be removed where necessary.
This was disclosed by Brigadier General Forster Okae-Yeboah, Coordinator of the National Post-Flood Mitigation Task Force, as part of ongoing efforts to address flooding challenges and improve urban drainage systems.
He emphasized that the nationwide clean-up and recovery exercise will continue, with a strong focus on preventing future disasters and enforcing compliance in flood-prone areas.
