WATCH: President John Dramani Mahama has urged senior citizens to enroll in the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (MahamaCares) to help cover the cost of treating non-communicable diseases associated with ageing.
He said the government will continue strengthening healthcare and social protection systems to ensure older persons can age with dignity.
The President emphasized that the initiative is designed to reduce the financial burden of healthcare for the elderly while improving access to essential medical services.
