Damascus cafe blast kills at least nine, wounds 20 #worldnow

At least nine people were killed and 20 others wounded after an explosive device detonated at a cafe near the main courthouse complex in Damascus on July 2, Syrian authorities said. The Interior Ministry described the device as a crude improvised explosive packed with metal shrapnel, while investigators reviewed security footage and collected evidence at the scene.
