He leaves the developed coast to serve inland China

Since 1996, China has been pairing its more developed eastern provinces with poorer regions in the west. Thousands of officials have made the journey west as part of this program. Li Huiqin has left the coastal province of Fujian to work in remote Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. CGTN reporter Wang Tianyu has his story.
