Bruce Lee becomes first Chinese American honored with California State Day

Bruce Lee's influence continues to transcend generations. California has officially established May 17 as "Bruce Lee Day," with Governor Gavin Newsom signing the bill into law on June 30.

Bruce Lee is now the first Chinese American in the state's history to receive an annual commemorative day in recognition of his cultural legacy.
