President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in Dr. Pamela Graham as Ghana's new Auditor-General, charging her to uphold transparency, accountability, and the prudent management of public resources.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, the President described the Office of the Auditor-General as a vital institution in safeguarding the public purse and strengthening public confidence in state institutions. He urged Dr. Graham to discharge her constitutional responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and independence.
In her remarks, Dr. Pamela Graham pledged to enhance accountability, improve the accuracy of public financial reporting, and work closely with staff of the Ghana Audit Service to build greater public trust in the institution.
