The government has announced a major education reform introducing free education for learners with special needs and disabilities across Ghana.
According to the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, an amount of GH¢100 million has been allocated under the amended GETFund Act to support the implementation of the programme.
The initiative is aimed at expanding access to education and promoting inclusive learning opportunities for persons with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support to pursue higher education.
