WATCH: Korle Klottey Municipal NADMO Coordinator, Hendrick Noble Kinnah, says more than 300 people were rescued following the recent floods, with provisional figures indicating over 2,000 affected households and more than 22,000 people impacted across the municipality.

He added that traders, mechanics, and transport operators suffered extensive losses, with thousands of market sheds and dozens of garages affected, while authorities continue to assess the full scale of damage.

He also confirmed that three people died in the recent floods.

Residents, including traders at the Odawna Rubber Factory Market and garage operators in Adabraka, describe devastating losses and are calling for urgent government support, improved drainage systems, and better planning to reduce future flood risks.
