Major Russian attack hits Kyiv overnight

Russia's Ministry of Defense said it launched a “massive strike using high-precision, long-range weapons,” targeting Ukraine's energy and military infrastructure, but Ukraine said civilian infrastructure and residential buildings had been hit, with Kyiv's mayor saying over a dozen people were killed. The strikes were preceded by a warning on Wednesday from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who said Russian President Vladimir Putin has been “preparing a massive strike against Ukraine for some time.” #CNN #news
