GHANAIAN SHOT D$$D IN SOUTH AFRICA: Tragic Killing During June 30 Anti-Foreigner Protest
A Ghanaian has been shot dead in South Africa following the June 30 protest demanding that all foreigners leave the country. The incident was confirmed by Ghana's High Commission to South Africa, with officials currently working with police to gather full details of what led to the shooting. Reports indicate that the victim, who had lived and worked in South Africa for about 20 years, was inside his shop when he was attacked. He is said to be survived by three children, with the eldest reportedly only 10 years old.
