Daniel Takyi Mensah, spokesperson for the Awutu Senya East Constituency Chairman of the NDC, has responded to allegations surrounding a claimed GHS 41 million contract award linked to a 24-Hour Economy Market project in Mankesim.

He refuted claims made by the NDC Central Regional Chairman that Stephen Ofosu Agyare's construction firm had been awarded the contract.

According to Daniel, the contract was instead awarded to Brison Construction Company Limited, and not the constituency chairman's firm as alleged.

He further described the claims as part of an internal political dispute aimed at creating disaffection within the party.
