The Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, has arrived at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi for a historic visit to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The Yagbonwura was accompanied by a high-powered delegation of Gonja chiefs and traditional leaders, with the entourage showcasing rich Gonja culture through regalia, music, and ceremonial displays along the route to the palace.
The visit marks a significant moment in relations between the Gonja and Asante traditional areas, and is expected to strengthen bonds of friendship, unity, and cooperation between the two powerful kingdoms in Ghana.
