The Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has called on politicians to abandon superstition, politically driven prophecies, and short-term governance approaches.
Speaking at the 2026 National Day of Prayer in Accra, he urged the nation to embrace long-term planning as the foundation for sustainable development.
He emphasized that Ghana's progress depends on deliberate planning and responsible leadership rather than election-cycle promises and spiritual predictions, urging the country to “settle down” and build strong institutions capable of sustaining national growth.
