Gov. Josh Shapiro: Rise of democratic socialists shows ‘passion’ and ‘pain’ among Dems

Gov. Josh Shapiro, D–PA, tells Morning Joe the rise of democratic socialism in the party shows both 'passion' and 'pain' among voters. Tuesday's Democratic primary in Colorado saw democratic socialist Melat Kiros defeat incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado's 1st District — a race following multiple New York primaries in which far-left candidates beat their less progressive counterparts. Voters, Shapiro says, are eager to check President Donald Trump's power.
