Democratic socialist Melat Kiros scored a major political upset by defeating longtime Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado's 1st Congressional District Democratic primary on Tuesday. Kiros joined “Connect with Jacob Soboroff” over the weekend to share how she hopes to build on progressive candidates' wins in the NYC primaries.
