Ghana's High Commissioner to South Africa, Benjamin Quarshie, has announced that another voluntary evacuation of Ghanaian nationals will be conducted soon as anti-immigration protests continue across South Africa.
The development comes as hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Pretoria, the administrative capital, demanding stricter immigration controls.
Authorities say the evacuation is a precautionary measure aimed at ensuring the safety and security of Ghanaian citizens living in affected areas.
