Government Delivers 40,000 Bags of Fertiliser to Farmers | Ghana News

The Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has commenced the nationwide distribution of 40,000 bags of fertiliser allocated by the government under the Feed Ghana Programme.

The fertiliser was allocated to the association by the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Eric Opoku, to improve access to critical agricultural inputs for organised farmer groups.

Speaking at the start of the exercise, PFAG Executive Director, Bismark Owusu Nortey, commended the government for delivering on its commitment to farmers, describing the intervention as an important step toward boosting agricultural productivity and food security.

The distribution forms part of ongoing efforts to support smallholder farmers and strengthen Ghana's agricultural sector.
