WATCH: Fire and Rescue Officers of the Tema Regional Command responded to 23 emergencies within 24 hours following torrential rains that triggered widespread flooding across Tema and surrounding communities.
The operations included flood rescues, fire outbreaks, fallen tree removals, and other hazard prevention efforts.
According to reports, 12 people trapped by floodwaters were rescued, while more than 50 residents were assisted to safety at Tema Newtown. One person remains missing after a drain collapse at the Tema Community 1 Market.
Emergency teams continue to monitor affected areas as authorities work to restore safety and normalcy.
