US Supreme Court rules against Trump's order to end birthright citizenship

The United States Supreme Court has just ruled against President Donald Trump's Executive Order limiting automatic citizenship. As guaranteed under the 14th Amendment, US citizenship is granted to “all persons born or naturalized in the United States”. Trump had sought to end automatic citizenship for children born to parents in the country illegally or on temporary visas. His earlier executive order was blocked by lower courts, sending the case to the nation's highest court.
