Professor David Millar, President of the Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies, says the plan must be firmly anchored within the framework of the National Development Planning Commission to ensure sustainability. He further urged that the initiative be linked to business and market opportunities to ensure effective implementation and long-term impact. The comments were made in relation to discussions surrounding the upcoming Upper East Regional Development Plan aimed at driving growth in the Upper East Region.
