Australian scholar: China's long-term vision drives continuous progress

Drawing on first-hand visits to villages throughout China, Australian sinologist Roland Boer says China's governance stands out for its long-term vision and continuous pursuit of improvement. He argues that even after achieving major milestones such as poverty alleviation, China's focus has shifted to the next stage of development, a governing philosophy he believes is rarely found in Western governance.
