Judge sets April 2027 date for Alex Murdaugh retrial
Alex Murdaugh, the former South Carolina lawyer who was convicted in the double murder of his wife and son, will be retried in April 2027. Murdaugh's conviction was previously overturned after the South Carolina Supreme Court said a clerk had influenced the jury during the 2023 trial.
