Germany battles soaring temperatures

A heat wave has gripped Europe for over a week and the World Health Organization estimates that approximately 150 million people are living in extreme heat conditions. Scientists indicate that such extreme heat events are virtually impossible without human influence and warn that they are becoming more frequent.
