Malutang bridge completes closure in Yunnan #coolchina

The Malutang Bridge in southwest China's Yunnan Province completed closure on Sunday, marking the full connection of a 52.8-kilometer expressway linking Tianbao Port, on the China-Vietnam border, with Malipo County. Spanning 1,005.5 meters across the Malutang Reservoir, the cable-stayed bridge was built despite complex geological conditions. The expressway is expected to open by October, benefiting nearly 100,000 residents.
