Rising cost of youth sports across the country
Parents are spending 46% more on average on their kids' sports since 2019, according to a recent study. Experts say part of the problem is private equity buying up youth leagues and facilities. The skyrocketing costs have even sparked a new bill in Congress, aimed at keeping private equity out of these programs and to make sure families of all income levels can have access to youth sports.
