Venezuela earthquakes aftermath: Desperation mounts as death toll continues to rise

The United Nations has warned nearly seven million people may require emergency aid as Venezuela deals with the aftermath of two earthquakes. Since Wednesday, authorities have confirmed the deaths of over 1,400 people, and tens of thousands remain unaccounted for. Search-and-rescue teams from at least 17 countries have been sent to help find survivors, with more on the way.
