The Trump admin ‘breaks more laws than they can count’: Oakland student reconnects with Soboroff
Vice President JD Vance downplayed Watergate this week – the scandal that brought down President Nixon. Vance dismissively asserted it would be a “12-hour news story” today. This isn't the first time Vance has needed a civics lesson. In 2024 he said Vice President Kamala Harris had just as much power as President Biden, leading to a viral moment when Oakland University student Marcus Johnson corrected the record speaking with Jacob Soboroff. “I knew it was going to be crazy,” says Johnson as he reconnects with Jacob, ”I didn't know it was going to be this crazy.”
