BREAKING: U.S. strikes Iran in response to attack on cargo ship in Strait of Hormuz

The United States struck Iran on in response to Iran's reported attack on a cargo ship crossing the Strait of Hormuz a day earlier, U.S. Central Command announced.

In a post on X, CENTCOM said U.S. aircraft “struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations and coastal radar sites.”

In response to a request for comment on the strikes, a White House spokesperson referred MS NOW to the CENTCOM post.
