Lebanon-Israel talks extended: Fifth round of US-mediated discussions underway

Talks between Lebanon and Israel, mediated by the United States, have been extended in Washington as negotiations continue over a potential framework agreement. The discussions, which have been ongoing for months, aim to end Israel's war on Lebanon that has killed more than 4,000 people.
