Prez Mahama Unveils Plans for Agenda 111 and New E-Block in Assin North

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that the Agenda 111 Hospital in Assin North is among 35 projects the government has selected for completion this year.

Speaking during the sod-cutting ceremony for a new 24-hour Economy Market at Assin Bereku as part of his working tour of the Central Region, President Mahama acknowledged that the previous administration initiated the Agenda 111 programme but said his government is prioritising hospitals that can be completed quickly.

He assured residents that the Minister for Health has confirmed the Assin North hospital is part of the selected projects and will be completed.

The President also fulfilled a campaign commitment made during the 2024 election campaign by announcing that Assin State College will receive one of 30 E-Blocks funded in this year's budget to improve infrastructure and enhance teaching and learning.

The announcements formed part of the President's broader development agenda for the Central Region.
