“We Will Support You”:Nana Prah Agyensaim VI Backs 24-Hour Economy Initiative

The Paramount Chief of the Assin Owirenkyi Traditional Council, Nana Prah Agyensaim VI, has thrown his support behind President John Dramani Mahama's proposed 24-hour economy policy.

Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the 24-hour economy market in Assin North, the Chief commended the President, saying the policy is a practical idea already implemented in many countries and has the potential to create jobs for the youth.

He urged Ghanaians to support the initiative, comparing national support for the policy to backing the Black Stars during a football match.

The Chief also noted that for the policy to succeed, electricity costs must be reduced, and called on both government and citizens to work together to ensure its successful implementation.

He further expressed optimism that the project will deliver economic benefits and prayed for its smooth execution.
