President Mahama Cuts Sod for Assin Bereku 24-Hour Market
President John Dramani Mahama has begun a working tour of the Central Region, starting with Assin Bereku in the Assin North District.
As part of his activities, the President will address a durbar of chiefs and residents before cutting the sod for a new 24-hour economy market, a flagship initiative of his administration aimed at boosting economic activity and job creation.
Accompanied by key sector ministers and government officials, President Mahama will also inspect several ongoing infrastructure projects, including four major road works across the region.
The tour forms part of government's broader efforts to accelerate development and improve infrastructure delivery in the Central Region.
